Are you from the Caribbean? Have you ever thought about living, studying and working in the US? Do you want to earn a First World Degree which will put you in a better position to provide a better quality of life for your family? If you thought about studying in the USA, you may have been deterred by the high cost associated with these US Degree programs. Many Colleges and Universities have expensive tuition rates, especially for international students who pay out of state tuition. Tuition rates have been growing steadily year after year, and this does not even include the added cost for books, health insurance, room and board, and transportation.

MetaBiz Educational Services (MES) can help you “jump start” your dreams by completing one of our many programs that have been accredited by Universities and Colleges in the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US). These programs when completed students receive a Diploma after which they can apply to Universities in the US or UK to “top-up” and complete their Bachelors or Masters.

However, one of the reasons that MES is unlike any other Educational Partner or Center is we simply do not just stop there after students have completed the programs with us. As foreigners ourselves we know firsthand how crazy the struggle can be as collectively we have covered the J1 visa (various types), F1 Visa along with other partner and dependent visas. With this in mind we work with our students that are desirous of acquiring scholarships or simply want to study and work in the US.

For many students, this can be a hurdle, forcing students to save money for years, rely on other funding sources, or delay their dream of a US education. But, wouldn’t it be nice if you could work and study at the same time? Now, a growing number of schools are offering a specialized Curricular Practical Training (CPT) program that gives students the unique opportunity to work from the moment they arrive on campus. Working in conjunctions with several US based Colleges we have created the MES CPT program.

MES CST program opportunities include:

  • Employment available for international students
  • Students are paid regular “American” wages
  • Both part time or full time employment available
  • Work-Study programs are available for both Undergraduate and Master students.

United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations allow international students who are enrolled in Work-Study USA program to work in internship positions. Through the work-study program, international students may work up to 40+ hours per week for as many months as the duration of the program allows. MES however have forged partnerships with Colleges that are specially approved by USCIS, these colleges are allowed to issue work permits for full-time off-campus employment for work-study student from the beginning of their studies.

This Work-Study USA program is designed to give students practical work experience in curriculum-related employment with local US based corporations and businesses. For those who select this option, paid internship employment is mandatory, beginning in the first semester of the first academic year of the student’s program.

Along with the mandatory internship employment, Work-Study students will need to take a total of 12 to 15 graduate courses, depending on the enrolled work-study program. Most of our students study in the evenings or weekends while work at day time with local corporation and businesses. As you can see, MES CPT program combines studying with working, which is especially suitable for adult students.

Another excellent incentive is that MES is owned by a company that is a J1 sponsor and also hire MES students as interns.

MES always assist our students in all aspects of off-campus employment which will provide the students with the maximum income possible, considering the skills and abilities of each person. Examples of potential incomes for students working full time (USCIS mandated 160 hours per month) through MES coordinated Work-Study USA program are as follows:

  • At $9.50 per hour a student would earn $1,520.00 per month (Intern).
  • At $12.00 per hour a student would earn $1,920.00 per month (Intern).
  • At $25 per hour a student would earn $4,000 per month (MBA and IT Students).

The earning can be kept by the work-study students and used for the tuition and living cost in the US, and help you reach your educational and professional goals in the USA.
